Chapter 3 - Guess He Approved

CHAPTER 3: GUESS HE APPROVED

"I've always been scared of the beach, Doc," Tshiamo muttered. "My friends make fun of me, but I can't help it."

The doctor smiled and became a sun-kissed bikini beauty right in front of him, and if the smile was a little tired, Tshiamo was too busy staring to notice.

"You ready?" she cooed.

"Wait, we're not going to the…"

The doctor interrupted him with a kiss, then led him out of the hospital and down to Kelly's Beach, quiet at that hour, the sand cool and empty from the main swim area to the rocks. She pushed him down onto a blanket and straddled him.

"See? There's no reason to be scared," she moaned, moving with him. "Just you and these."

She guided his hands to her. He moved with her until they both climaxed, and when it was over he lay back on the blanket and looked around and smiled.

The beach wasn't such a bad place after all.

The doctor lay beside him a moment longer than the cure required, listening to the surf, wearing a body that wasn't hers, on a beach she had never once visited as herself.

She couldn't remember the last time she had been anywhere as herself.

Vukani's eyes lit up. "The risk of getting caught… that's what really gets me, Doc. I like to play it safe — too safe."

The doctor smiled as she transformed, and thought: you and me both, my friend. You and me both.

"Let's go."

She pulled him into the hospital storeroom, leaving the door cracked open. Voices could be heard just outside — nurses at the meds trolley, a porter's radio. The doctor bent over the metal shelving.

"So? Are you going to play it safe or… OOOOH!"
