Let me reintroduce him properly: Mr. Siyabonga Ntuli. Tall, handsome, and the man who made me feel alive again.

Monday came so fast. Don't worry - it wasn't raining, and I wasn't late.

Thembi: "You look fresh and glowing."

Me: "A good dick does that to a lady."

Thembi: "I'm not in a rush to go home. My husband will be there."

Me: "Then you should hurry. Give him his cookie while the kids are at school."

Thembi: "No. Your eNCA news is more important."

So I told her everything - from the number exchange to the whole weekend.

Thembi: "You kept this from me for that long?"

Me: "Yeah. Mostly because I didn't think I'd like it, and I was ashamed of dating a married man."

Thembi: "Love, as long as you're happy and he loves you, I'm happy for you."

Me: "Thank you friend. Thank you for not judging me."

Thembi: "It's okay, love. Do you love him?"

Me: "I like him."

Thembi: "That's good enough. But don't get your hopes up. He'll never leave his wife for you."

Me: "I won't expect it."

A few days later, I went home to visit. My Mom was cooking when I walked in.

Me: "How are you?"

Her: "I'm well. And wena?"

Me: "I'm okay. Where's everyone?"

Her: "Mbali's pregnant. She says her stomach is big because she's full. That child thinks I was born yesterday. And Ronald went out with his friends."

Me: "What?"

Her: "Yes. She thinks I'm stupid. I found a pregnancy test two weeks ago. She said it was her friend's. And now she's got a dark line on her stomach."

Me: "Where is she?"

Her: "I don't know, and I don't care. I'm just waiting for her to admit it qha."
