Right now your visits to the public site show up in the stats exactly like a reader's.
Per browser, per device. This is remembered in a cookie, so open this page once on each browser and phone you test from. A private window forgets it when you close it.
The dashboard is already excluded. Nothing under /dashboard, /admin or /books is ever counted, whether you set this or not. This switch is for when you’re testing the public side of the site.
Bots are excluded too, and always, with no switch — they were about 97 to 99 percent of what our own stats used to record.
